Our diseases are not due to poor healthy choices most often, but the choices we make thinking they are healthy when the misinformation is the issue. Think about this: if the foods we thought and the amounts of exercise we thought is truly healthy, then why are there most diseased and sick individuals today than before? One leading cause of many diseases, including diabetes, arthritis, cancer, heart diseases (including blood pressure issues), reproductive health (fertility issues, PCOS, menstrual, or female or male health issues) - the list goes on and on - is due to two slow poisons in most of our food: Fructose (Sugar) & Lectins/Gluten! Here's what they do to you. Sugars increase the rate of ageing by forming AGE (Advanced Glycation End products) which accumulate at different sites in our body and whereas gluten messes up with our gut health thereby causing inflammation and chronic metabolic disorders.
And if the disease runs in your family, it is most likely because our diet/lifestyle is very similar to that of our family. In fact, only about 10% of breast cancer cases are genetic in nature!
The conventional diet chart has a heavy commercial bias. The original diet we consumed before invention of agriculture had little to none grains. Mostly it was vegetables, seasonal fruits and animal products. No processed junk of any kind. As we start following correct diet based on our lifestyle, majority of the metabolic discorder symptoms start disappearing within weeks to months.
